"Maaa Cookies"

"Hep Mama"

This afternoon, Colton and I made the peanut butter cookies we made the other day. I've been thinking about them since we first made them since they were so good! I found a peanut butter cookie recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook and added chocolate chips. Here is the (short version) recipe:
1/2 cup butter (one stick)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
Beat the butter and peanut butter. Add the sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and baking powder. Beat until combined. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Beat in flour. Add chocolate chips (I just added about a cup; I made this part up!)

Bake at 375 for 7-9 minutes.

When I was cleaning up the kitchen, I noticed Colton sitting on the couch "changing" the channel. While he was holding the remote like that, a test from the emergency broadcast system came on (you know, the beep beep). He said "uh ohhh".
