On Friday night, Jeremy and Colton planned to camp out in the backyard. They set up the tent and waited until dusk before going out there. We got together a snack (Colton picked out Mario and Luigi fruit snacks), some games and a Highlights magazine. Colton was so excited-mostly about playing in the tent and the sleeping bags! Once it started getting dark, we took everything out to the tent. I had just put Caroline to bed and was ready to sit down by myself for a little while!! They made it until 10:00. 10 pm, that is! Jeremy said they played and had fun and then he told Colton it was time to go to sleep. Colton laid down and tried, but couldn't fall asleep "because of all the noises" (aka bugs). Back inside they came! I told Colton that we could take his noisemaker outside next time. He told me that there wasn't a plug, smart boy!
